Buyer Protection

By using LGBT World, opening an account with us, placing orders on www.lgbtworldonline.eu or communicating with a seller on any of our platforms, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. We want to reassure you that your protection of your rights as a buyer, are very important to us. For us to maintain your protection and rights, we need you to follow a few rules…

Our Rules

Anti-Discrimination – To help us ensure that LGBT World is a safe and friendly environment for both sellers and buyers, we have a strict anti-discrimination policy in place. When using our website we ask that you respect our sellers and do not discriminate in any of the following ways.

On LGBT World, you cannot discriminate based upon:

  • Race
  • Colour
  • Ethnicity
  • National origin
  • Religion
  • Gender
  • Gender identity
  • Sexual orientation
  • Disability
  • Any other characteristic protected under applicable law

It is your responsibility as a buyer to know your local laws and any other legal regulations on discrimination that might apply to you.

If you think discrimination has occurred on LGBT World, please report it by e-mailing info@lgbtworldonline.eu and we will investigate the matter further. If you see a listing on LGBT World which you believe violates our Product Policy please report it to the same email address.

Buying on lgbtworldonline.com and payments – If you are under the age of 18, you need to have permission to buy from our websites. If you are paying with a card that is not your own, you must have permission of the owner of that card to purchase from our website. If you break these terms, you are potentially breaking the law. If our payment gateway (Stripe) detects any fraudulent activity regarding payments, your order may not go through and your payment may be rejected. Our sellers will not accept payment for orders placed on LGBT World outside of our website. If a seller requests further payment from you for an order, please do not give in to their request. If a seller does request further payment after you have placed your order, please report them to us by emailing sales@lgbtworldonline.eu

Personalisation requests – There will be some products on LGBT World where sellers may offer the option to personalise their products. We have a very strict policy regarding personalised items and want to make it very clear that requesting an item to be personalised with a message promoting any of the subjects related to our anti-discrimination policy, may result in serious actions against you.

Once your application has been accepted and you are officially a seller on LGBT World, we want to reassure you that your protection of your rights as a seller are very important to us. We also want to make sure that your experience as a seller on LGBT World Online is a pleasant one.

Please note: By completing and submitting your application form you are automatically agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Our Rules

Your products – All products must be within our guidelines and must not break any of our conditions. Failing to do so, may result in your account being terminated immediately. Please refer to our Product Policy for more information on what you may and may not sell on LGBT World Online. When writing your product descriptions, please make sure that you include an accurate processing and shipment time frame for your orders so that your customers know when to expect their order. If you offer personalisation with your products, it is your job to make sure that you do not break any of our rules regarding our product terms and conditions and our rules against discrimination. If a customer has a personalisation request that goes against these terms, please report the issue to sales@lgbtworldonline.eu.

We do not accept any form of copyright infringement. Please ensure that whichever products you are selling, are products you own full rights to or have permission to use. If we are informed of any copyright infringement, we may open a case against you, as we look into the complaint further.

Your shop – We ask that you keep your shop up to date with your own policies and terms and conditions. Make sure all of your prices are correct, your descriptions are accurate and that the images of your products are clear and actual representations of the products you are selling.

Your customers – We understand that as much as we hope each sale runs smoothly, customers may have issues with the items or services they have received from our sellers. Dealing with customers may not always be a pleasant experience but we ask that you handle each situation with professionalism and understanding. If we are informed of any aggressive behaviour from our sellers, we will have no choice but to take action against you. If you ever feel like a customer is being inappropriate or showing threatening or aggressive behaviour towards you, please report the issue to info@lgbtworldonline.eu. You can also contact this email for any customer communication related issues. If you are having trouble with refunds, solving issues with customers about a completed sale or anything else related to sales please contact us at sales@lgbtworldonline.eu.

Processing orders to shipping them out – Once a customer places an order with you, you must accept full responsibility of the items included within the order until it reaches the shipping address. It is your responsibility to package fragile items correctly, to pack the correct items, to send it to the correct shipping address and to stick to the processing time that you provided. If you have any issues with shipping such as the order not arriving to the customer, please contact the shipping provider that you used to send out the order. We do not accept responsibility for any damaged, incorrect or lost items.

Payments – You must not accept payment from customers outside of our platform for an order that was placed on www.lgbtworldonline.com. You must only accept payments from orders placed within our website. You must not request any further payment from customers after an order has been placed.

Our payment gateway Stripe will usually deal with any suspected fraudulent payment but if you are at all suspicious of a customer’s payment details, please contact our sales team directly at sales@lgbtworldonline.eu and we will look into it for you.
